If you've been working out for a long time you've probably realized the truth of this statement at some point or another. I have a friend at work who has been working hard to increase her running distance and in doing so has reminded me to keep pushing myself and not be content. Don't ever give up. Set goals for yourself and push to achieve those goals!

Tonight I decided to do Kenpo Plus. That Gladiator move entices me every time! And then it gets me every time :)  Of course there are the spinning swords that make me dizzy too. I'm getting a little better at them and keeping myself steady, but it's not always easy. Have I ever mentioned how I like the fact that I'm kind of learning self-defense moves while working out? In Kenpo Plus there's one move where you do a double sword (it would be like hitting someone with both hands in the neck), then a knee kick and then a back kick. What a great option if you had two assailants! I hope I'm never in a position to need self-defense moves, but it sure makes me feel empowered when I'm doing Kenpo!

I came home and enjoyed a long overdue chat with my sister! The kids just kind of went to bed while we were talking. And I did clean the kitchen floor, but it sure was nice to catch up. But then I had to do my burpees. 92 tonight! I really can't believe we're so close to 100!! I remember being the in 50's and wondering if we'd ever get to 100. Only a few more days!! Hang in there if you're still in it.
